QUICK GUIDE
Here's some help on how you can get started, including tips and an overview of how the courses operate.
How are the courses structured?
To help you find your way, our courses are organised into four Knowledge Levels, each course having a Difficulty Rating:
-
Introduction: Designed for the absolute beginner - even if you’ve never stepped onto a dance floor. Start here for a fresh, accessible entry into Jazz.
-
Foundation: These are the "must-master" essentials. Regardless of your dance background, these core concepts are the backbone of your Jazz journey.
-
Wisdom & Artistry: These levels are designed to expand your repertoire, deepen your musicality, and refine your personal expression.
Understanding Difficulty ☆☆☆☆☆
Each course includes a difficulty rating to help manage your expectations. Don’t panic if a "Foundation" course feels challenging! Difficulty can be affected by the pace of instruction, technical complexity, or the amount of information. For example, some Foundational courses involve tap-related footwork that takes time to master.
